Who should cover the expenses of looking after a dog?

This is subject to an agreement between the dog owner and dog borrower. We recommend that dog owners provide the food, since they are familiar with their dog’s preferences and needs.

Decisions on who covers the other costs that may occur, such as transport fees, can be reached if the two parties meet. Demand or receipt of payment for services provided by the dog borrower is not an option, and is not permitted at Hundelieb.
